Grid Frames for Canva

Grid mode cuts a rectangle into rows and columns, each cell a Canva frame that takes its own photo. Add a gap, round the outer corners, or switch on the wave effect for puzzle-like edges that still fit together.

Grid mode

Collage grid with wavy edges. The same engine as Frames Lab in Canva; nothing is uploaded.

Opens Frames Lab inside Canva. Pick Grid there and use the same settings.

Questions

How many photos can a grid hold?

Up to 30 cells, for example 5 by 6. Canva limits how complex one shape can be, so Frames Lab blocks larger grids and so does this page.

What does the wave effect do?

It bends every shared edge into a wave so neighbouring cells interlock like puzzle pieces. Wave strength sets how deep the curve is and wave frequency how many waves per edge. Straight outer borders keeps the outside of the grid flat.

Grid or Frame Collage?

Grid mode is a uniform rows-and-columns frame with wave and corner options. Frame Collage is a different Qrdy app for bento layouts where boxes have different sizes.
