Heart, Circle, Arch and Scalloped Frames for Canva
This is Frames Lab running on the web. Pick a mode, move the same sliders you get in Canva, and watch the frame redraw around a photo. When it looks right, open the app and build it in your design.
Shape mode
Any shape becomes a frame. The same engine as Frames Lab in Canva; nothing is uploaded.
Opens Frames Lab inside Canva. Pick Shape there and use the same settings.
In Canva, Shape mode turns any shape or graphic in your design into a frame. Here, pick a ready-made shape or drop your own transparent PNG.

Five ways to make a frame
- Shape. Any shape becomes a frame. That is this page: pick a shape above or drop your PNG.
- Burst Frames for Canva. Make a burst frame for Canva: sparks, bubbles, splashes and radial rays that hold a photo. Random every time, with the same style, density, size and spread controls as Frames Lab.
- Grid Frames for Canva. Build a grid frame for Canva: rows and columns of photo cells with gap, rounded corners and optional wavy edges. Live preview with the Frames Lab engine, up to 30 cells.
- Arc Frames for Canva. Make an arc frame for Canva: a pie slice from 0 to 360 degrees with any start angle. Semi circle, three-quarter and full circle photo frames, previewed live with the Frames Lab engine.
- Diagonal Frames for Canva. Build a diagonal frame for Canva: slanted strips at any angle with spacing, gap and wavy edges. Each strip holds its own photo. Live preview with the Frames Lab engine, up to 30 strips.
In Canva, Shape mode reads the shapes already in your design, and the Style tab adds edge blur, a border and an inner shadow on top of any frame you added.

Questions
Is this the real Frames Lab?
The frames on this page are drawn by the same code that runs inside the Frames Lab app on Canva: Shape, Burst, Grid, Arc and Diagonal with the same controls and limits. The app adds the frame to your design and has a Style tab for blur, border and inner shadow on top.
Why does Burst change every time?
Burst is random in the app too. When you see one you like, click it to keep it in the big preview, then open Frames Lab with the same style, density, size, spread, variation and distribution.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo stays in your browser as a local image and is dropped when you leave the page. There is no upload and no server.
Why is the grid blocked over 30 cells?
Canva limits how complex one frame shape can be, so Frames Lab stops at 30 cells for Grid and 30 strips for Diagonal. The web demo applies the same limit.
