Arc Frames for Canva

Arc mode draws a slice of a circle. Pill sets how much of the circle is filled, from a thin wedge to a full disc, and Start angle turns it. It is the quickest way to a semi circle or three-quarter circle photo frame.

Arc mode

Pie and ring segments. The same engine as Frames Lab in Canva; nothing is uploaded.

Opens Frames Lab inside Canva. Pick Arc there and use the same settings.

360° is a full circle; anything less is a pie slice that opens where you set the start angle.

Questions

How do I get a half circle?

Set Pill to 180 and Start angle to 0 for a bottom half, or 180 for a top half. 90 gives a quarter, 270 a three-quarter circle, 360 a full circle.

Is the arc hollow or filled?

Filled, from the centre out, like a pie slice. For a ring, use Shape mode with a ring shape from the library or Frames Lab's Shape mode with a Canva ring element.
