## Introduction

Diagonal mode slices a rectangle into parallel strips at the angle you choose. Spacing sets the strip width, gap the space between strips, and the wave effect makes the strips ripple.

This page is a live web demo of the diagonal mode of Frames Lab, a Qrdy app that runs inside Canva. The frame is drawn by the same engine as the app; the real frame is added to your design in the app.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### How many strips can I have?

Up to 30. Narrow spacing on a large design makes more strips; when the count goes over 30 the preview is blocked, same as the app.

### Can the strips be vertical or horizontal?

Yes. Angle 90 gives vertical strips, 0 or 180 horizontal, 45 the classic diagonal.
